Leave a Legacy for LPS Students This Estate Planning Awareness Month

October is National Estate Planning Awareness Month, which makes it a great time to think about the legacy you want to leave behind. A planned gift to the Littleton Public Schools Foundation helps ensure future generations of LPS students have access to extraordinary opportunities for years to come.

Including the LPS Foundation in your will or estate plan can be simple, and gifts of every size make a lasting difference. Whether your gift supports mental health resources, educator grants, career-connected learning, or other student needs, your generosity will continue to shine long after today.

Need a will? We can help. The LPS Foundation now offers a free online "Make a Will" tool that helps you create a legally valid will at no cost.

The Littleton Public Schools Foundation is partnering with LifeLegacy to make planning for your future simple, meaningful, and accessible. With LifeLegacy’s free online will planner, you can create a legally valid will* in about 20 minutes. You can also prepare other essential estate-planning documents, including an advance healthcare directive and financial power of attorney.

*There is no obligation to include the LPS Foundation in your estate plans to use this free resource.

Here's how to get started:

  • Visit the Planned Giving section of our website to access the free Make a Will tool and explore your planned giving options.
  • Learn how to include the LPS Foundation in your will, trust, or estate plans.
  • Contact Stefanie Carroll, Executive Director, at 303-347-3478 or scarroll@lps.k12.co.us to learn more.

Thank you for investing in the future of Littleton Public Schools.
