The Stride
The Stride is a fun, family-friendly 5K/10K and wellness event that ignites community spirit and champions student and educator success across Littleton Public Schools.
What: The 30th Annual Stride 5K/10K and Wellness Expo
When: Sunday, October 26, 2025. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
Where: Littleton Museum, 6028 S. Gallup St., Littleton, CO 80120
Who: Everyone (LPS students, neighbors, educators, parents, community members, wellness advocates, public school fans, runners, walkers - seriously everyone!)

School Grant Information
A big part of The Stride is supporting health and wellness initiatives at the school level. Funds raised through this community event help the Littleton Public Schools Foundation provide resources that promote student well-being, physical activity, and mental health across the district.
Each year, schools and programs are recognized for their incredible participation, creativity, and enthusiasm surrounding The Stride.
Highest Overall Participation ($2,000 each) - Recognizing the elementary, middle, and high school (plus one program) with the highest overall percentage of participation.
Highest Increase in Participation ($1,000 each) - Celebrating schools that show the greatest growth in participation compared to the previous year at each level.
Most School Spirit ($1,000 each) - Honoring schools that demonstrate outstanding school spirit through pre-event promotion, creativity, and enthusiasm at their Stride booth on race day (as judged by the LPS Board of Education). Awarded to an elementary, middle, and high school in the district.
New for The Stride’s 30th Anniversary ($1,000) - Recognizing the school or program with the BEST marketing and promotions leading up to The Stride.
Volunteer Opportunities
From high-fives to handing out water cups, volunteers fuel the excitement on race day. It’s easy, fun, and a great way to show your LPS pride. Grab a friend, bring your family, and join the team that makes this incredible event possible for thousands of participants each year.

Race Course Information
Both the 5K and 10K courses offer beautiful scenery through historic Littleton neighborhoods. You'll enjoy gorgeous trees, charming homes, and get to run near many LPS schools. For our youngest athletes, the Kids Fun Run is a loop around Ketring Park, perfect for children 10 and under to experience the joy of running.
