News & Notes
Starting October 1, LPS Foundation Educator Grants are open for applications, giving teachers and staff across the district the chance to bring those ideas to life. Every year, these grants turn classroom concepts into real, hands-on experiences for students.
The Foundation has secured more than $230,000 to remodel the East Community Center's existing kitchen and transform it into a welcoming commercial space, one built to serve families, nonprofit tenants, and community partners for years to come.
The LPS Foundation is honored to help celebrate the life and legacy of Brian Vogt (HHS '76), a Heritage High School alumnus and respected community leader who passed away in 2025.
In 2025-26, $120,000 was awarded to support 57 grants for 30 schools across the district – grants that are helping students engage with learning, challenge themselves academically, and find the spark of lifelong learning.
