Annual Giving Opportunities for Businesses of All Sizes
As the 2024-25 school year begins, the Littleton Public Schools Foundation is excited to present a diverse array of annual corporate giving opportunities. These initiatives are designed to foster community engagement, support educational excellence, and provide tangible benefits to both businesses and the students and educators of Littleton Public Schools.
Here’s how your workplace can make a meaningful impact this year:
1. Corporate Sponsorships
Sponsorships offer an opportunity for businesses to support educational programs while gaining significant exposure. Companies can choose to sponsor various annual events, such as:
- “A Night at the Theatre”, featuring Jersey Boys - Saturday, October 5, 2024
- The 29th Annual Stride 10K/5K - Sunday, October 27, 2024
- In Bloom: The Spirit Celebration Gala - Friday, April 4, 2025
- “Tee It Up for LPS” Golf Tournament - Friday, August 8, 2025
2. Matching Gift Programs
Many corporations offer matching gift programs, where they match employees' donations to charitable organizations. By participating in or initiating a matching gift program, your company can double the impact of donations made by your employees to the Littleton Public Schools Foundation.
3. Grant Partnerships
Corporations can establish grant partnerships with the LPS Foundation to fund specific projects or programs within the school district.
Our “Grants for Educators” program invites educators to apply for funding that will inspire creativity in the classroom. We recently awarded more than 50 grants for projects at 22 LPS schools. As an Educator Grant partner, you can visit the school and see your impact in action.
4. Employee Volunteer Programs
Engaging employees in volunteer opportunities not only contributes to community service, but also fosters a culture of giving within your organization. The LPS Foundation offers various ways for employees to get involved, including volunteering at one of our many events, or joining one of our community committees for The Stride or The Spirit Celebration.
5. Community Impact Initiatives
Collaborate with us on broader community impact initiatives, such as Colorado Gives Day on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. This annual state-wide giving event raises millions for nonprofit organizations, including the Littleton Public Schools Foundation. By providing matching funds or seed money for our Colorado Gives campaign, your championship of public education will be on display to thousands of Coloradoans.
