The 31st Annual Stride Raises $135,000 for Littleton Public Schools

The LPS community stepped up for students at the 31st Annual Stride 5K, Kids Fun Run, and Health & Wellness Expo on October 25. Together, 1,570 participants and more than 200 volunteers helped the LPS Foundation raise $135,000, surpassing its $130,000 goal.

Presented by McDonald Automotive, this year’s Stride brought families, educators, students, and community partners together for a morning of fitness, school spirit, and connection at the Littleton Museum. The event’s first-ever wheelchair division welcomed youth and adult participants, while the return of pancakes and creative school booths added to the fun.

The Foundation awarded $16,000 in school health and wellness grants, helping schools support students’ well-being. Little Raven Elementary earned the overall Stride Cup, with nearly 30% of its school community participating. Proceeds from The Stride also help support the Foundation’s 2026–27 Grants to Educators program, bringing innovative learning opportunities to LPS classrooms.

This success reflects the generosity and dedication of sponsors, donors, volunteers, school teams, and everyone who ran, walked, rolled, or cheered. From early packet pickup to the Expo, along the course, and throughout setup and cleanup, volunteers helped make the day welcoming, safe, and memorable.

Thank you for showing what our community can accomplish together in support of LPS students.
