The LPS Foundation is honored to help celebrate the life and legacy of Brian Vogt (HHS '76), a Heritage High School alumnus and respected community leader who passed away in 2025.
As Brian's Heritage High School Class of 1976 gathered to mark their 50th reunion this year, one thing was clear: they wanted to honor their late classmate in a way that would outlast the reunion itself. Not with a plaque or a toast, but with something that would keep giving.
So they created a scholarship in his name.
Members of the Class of 1976 recently visited the LPS Foundation office to present a check, officially launching the Brian Vogt Memorial Scholarship Fund. It was a full-circle moment: classmates who once walked Heritage's halls together, coming back decades later to invest in the students walking those same halls today.
Now, the Foundation is inviting fellow alumni and community members to help the fund grow. Every gift adds another chapter to Brian's story, and helps ensure a current Heritage High School student can build a legacy of their own.
Brian's classmates chose to honor him not by looking back, but by looking forward – to the next generation of student leaders at his alma mater. That's a legacy worth carrying.
