Thanks to your generosity, the Littleton Public Schools Foundation helped kids get outside, active, and confident on two wheels!
This fall, we awarded a $2,000 grant to fund bikes and helmets for the brand-new Safer Streets Practice Park at the East Community Center — a collaborative project between Littleton Public Schools and the City of Littleton.
The park gives children a safe, welcoming, and car-free environment to learn how to ride, build balance and coordination, and practice bike safety — all while developing independence and a love for movement. With this grant, more students can participate regardless of financial barriers, ensuring that every child who wants to ride has the gear they need.
The Practice Park is free and open to the public, and can be used by Littleton Public Schools and other organizations for programming.
